Behavioral Health

At Maternity Care Coalition (MCC), we believe that in order to raise babies that are healthy, growing, and thriving, families need to be healthy and happy too! This is why we offer a range of services for families currently enrolled in our programs that support parents’ mental health and wellness. We meet families where they are living, or where they are most comfortable, to provide professional, caring, and non-judgmental therapeutic support.

How We Help

We address issues impacting pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting through various programs specialized in areas such as:

  • Depression and anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Substance use
  • Incarceration

In order to reduce barriers for families, we meet moms, parents, and children where they are most comfortable and aim to provide options for how we deliver services.

We provide:

  • In-home and virtual therapy for pregnant people, parents, and families
  • Individual and family therapy
  • Referrals to other agencies for support that is not within our scope of services

Our Approach

We meet with parents to determine their concerns, needs, and goals and help them develop an individualized plan. We offer an opportunity to discuss concerns with a trained professional while honoring their privacy and confidentiality.

Maternal mental health conditions are the most common complications of pregnancy and childbirth.

Symptoms can appear any time during pregnancy and the first 12 months after childbirth.
